Pasta sauce
Apr. 23rd, 2004 08:42 amThis morning, I walked out of the house with a jar of pasta sauce in my hand. It was smokey bacon flavour.
Now I'm sure I must have had a reason for taking a jar of tomato and smokey bacon sauce with me to work. But I'm buggered if I know what it was.
So operating under the assumption that this Ed bloke that made me bring pasta sauce to work isn't just a muppet, does anyone have any suggestions why I might have had a jar of pasta sauce in my hand on the way out of work.
In a cruel twist of irony, I left for work early this morning. I got in at 10 minutes past 8, which is (by my standards) early.
And then I found that I'd managed to leave by ID card on my desk at home, so couldn't get in the fscking main gate. Or clock in.
Sigh. I know my times are fine for the week, but ...
Looks like there's a good chance of being going airsofing this weekend. On Sunday. To Peterborough. Just ordered myself another G3 HiCap and a sack of BBs.
They may even have hire guns left if anyone is interested.
And incidentally, I note that there's a proposed amendment to US law. Snarfed from Neil Gaiman. It's a list of words banned from 'all media' under US law.
Thankfully, my personal two favourites being "Wanker" and "Bollocks" _aren't_ banned. So expect more of that on US TV I reckon...
And a couple of cool links:
The iDuck - a USB flash duck
and
A slightly strange clock
