This morning, I walked out of the house with a jar of pasta sauce in my hand. It was smokey bacon flavour.

Now I'm sure I must have had a reason for taking a jar of tomato and smokey bacon sauce with me to work. But I'm buggered if I know what it was.

So operating under the assumption that this Ed bloke that made me bring pasta sauce to work isn't just a muppet, does anyone have any suggestions why I might have had a jar of pasta sauce in my hand on the way out of work.

In a cruel twist of irony, I left for work early this morning. I got in at 10 minutes past 8, which is (by my standards) early.
And then I found that I'd managed to leave by ID card on my desk at home, so couldn't get in the fscking main gate. Or clock in.

Sigh. I know my times are fine for the week, but ...

Looks like there's a good chance of being going airsofing this weekend. On Sunday. To Peterborough. Just ordered myself another G3 HiCap and a sack of BBs.

They may even have hire guns left if anyone is interested.

And incidentally, I note that there's a proposed amendment to US law. Snarfed from Neil Gaiman. It's a list of words banned from 'all media' under US law.
Thankfully, my personal two favourites being "Wanker" and "Bollocks" _aren't_ banned. So expect more of that on US TV I reckon...

And a couple of cool links:

Interesting - if I brought a jar of pasta sauce to work with me it'd either be because I was taking it from my Mum's house to mine, or because I wanted to add it to my emergency food supplies that live at work, but pasta sauce is a bit of an odd thing for that, given that cooking pasta in a microwave is rather tricky. Hmm.

I was rather tempted. A USB glow in the dark duck is rather cool after all.
But then I came to the conclusion that a rubber duck that I can't use in the bath is just no good :)

But does it do USB flashdrive and glow in the dark?

I'm sorry, I'm innocent and naive and have no idea what you're referring to.

To bribe somebody with to let you in when you realised you'd forgotten your ID card.

Or you're pregnant and craving lycopene.

Hmm, subconcious prescience? That'd be neat. ALthough it might have been easier to remember the card :)

You should have asked around - maybe someone in security did actually desperately need pasta sauce this morning...
