Charities look for donations all the time.

But you know, it's easy to forget, until the next time there is a crisis.

There's a solution though. Almost all of them allow for monthly subscription, via Direct Debit, Credit Card, Debit Card. And that small sum of money each month can make a huge difference, and yet be almost entirely un-noticed in the monthly expenses. Especially at this time of year, when so much money gets turned into festivities.

Here is your challenge.

Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Been sponsoring a guide dogs for a few years now. Very worthwhile and you also get to see the dog progress with reports from the handlers and the eventual receipiant.

It is also worth considering getting a credit card that pays an amount to a charity. You get to spend as you did before, it doesn't cost you anything 'cos you set up a Direct Debit to pay it off in full each month, you even get a bonus of an entire months spending for free (well, until you retire anyway) and you give money to a charity of your choice.

I already do monthly donations to several charities. The one I recommend as most efficient, innovative, and effective, is the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah.
