Change the world
Dec. 12th, 2005 01:49 pmCharities look for donations all the time.
But you know, it's easy to forget, until the next time there is a crisis.
There's a solution though. Almost all of them allow for monthly subscription, via Direct Debit, Credit Card, Debit Card. And that small sum of money each month can make a huge difference, and yet be almost entirely un-noticed in the monthly expenses. Especially at this time of year, when so much money gets turned into festivities.
Here is your challenge.
Find me a link to a charity subscription page.
Post it here.
Select one listed, it doesn't matter which and sign up for the monthly subscription, it doesn't matter how much.
Then copy and paste this text and post it in your journal.
Charities (updated as I get them):
Amnesty UK Supporting Human Rights around the world
Oxfam Works against poverty and suffering, especially in 3rd world countries
RSPCA Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Guide Dogs for the blind
Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Utah
Blesma Supporting ex-servicemen who have lost limbs
St Dunstans
The Charity Directory
