Well, I've got holiday plans lined up. End of this month, I shall be off to Whitby. And then the weekend after, I shall be off to Reykjavik. I've actually booked Wednesday to Wednesday, for a total of 2 and a bit weeks. The extra 5 days holiday I 'opted' for as a flexible benefit have been glorious.
Whitby shall be Thursday to Tuesday.
Reykjavik is going to be Thursday to Sunday. Which reminds me, need to book parking.
Both spent in the company of friends, albeit from different social circles, and so shall be fun.
Between the two, and on either side, I have a few days where I shall make a point of visting the gym.
A session of 'hard workout' followed by 'some time' doing sauna and pool and book, is really rather pleasant.
Managed to do this on both Saturday and Sunday today. 10km rowing is a good workout, but I'm aiming to get my time down to 40 minutes or so, rather than the current 53. (Which I suppose is better than the 62 on Thursday, but...). I know I can for 'burst' periods do more than twice as fast as I average, so it gives me something to work on.
