There's some mushrooms, growing just outside my window at work:

It's really a rather lovely day to day. The drive in was pleasant - sun low, shining on the treetops which are slowly turning from green to that autumnal red/brown. Lunchtime was still warm enough to sit outside and read for a bit, and again, was very pleasant.

Oooh, we call them Ink Mushrooms - and they're delicious!

I've always known then as shaggy ink caps. I've never tried eating them but am told they're best before they're shrinking up themselves, looking inky. So nice fresh white ones are best.
