Well, it's Tuesday. Today Seb is off into town to place a deposit on a house on Allesley Old Road.
Just past the Nursery Tavern in fact.

The weather is bright and sunny, but with a pleasant breeze. I must say, I approve of the affect this has on clothing.
Plenty of opportunity for ogling as one walks around town.

Which reminds me, I managed to successfully wash all my short sleeve shirts. Only with a pen in the pocket of one of them. So now I have an interesting 'black blotch' camoflague pattern on all my shirts. This is vaguely inconvenient, and means i'll be buying some more at lunchtime...

The other thing that bothers me is a discussion on the radio last night. About "Stealth Racists" in the police force.

Apparently there are racists who are cunning, and act as though they weren't, and so are remaining in the police.

Now to me, this sounds suspiciously like "Thought Police". I fully accept that 'prejudice' is a bad thing in most environments. Especially prejudice based on race. But if they're 'stealth' racists, eg. there's no sign that they happen to dislike black people, then surely it makes no odds?

I consider it a personal right to dislike anyone I feel like disliking. As long as this doesn't bias professional decisions, then where's the cause to complain?

I may decide that townies annoy me, and so I'll avoid them in a social environment. Yes, I'm fully aware that this is a prejudice against a segment of the community that may be irrational. But it still doesn't mean I'm going to hang around the Litten Tree on a match day.
