Group storytelling

I think I shall give it a go, once I have had time to ponder...

The Rules:
1) You may add no more than one paragraph to the story per reply. Paragraphs of unreasonable length or multiple paragraph replies will be deleted.
2) You must wait at least an hour before you can reply to yourself. No time limit on how quickly you can respond to another poster.
3) You cannot contradict what has already happened ‘in story.’
4) You may not reserve or complain about the changing of things that are not ‘in story,’ regardless of how wonderful your plot idea is.
5) Any ‘out of story’ comments are strongly discouraged in the story thread – please start a new thread of replies if you want to comment on something. If you really need to post one, post it in italics.
6) Try to keep the number of named characters limited if at all possible. Don’t introduce someone new if an existing character will do the job.
7) I reserve the right to discount and delete replies for whatever reason I see fit as and when required. If you're really lucky, I'll tell you why. I doubt I'll have to use that option, but I thought I'd mention it.

Well, provided I can come up with a story extension that doesn't just seem a little flimflammy in my opinion :)
