Travel time
May. 28th, 2004 10:26 amSeems my journey to work takes 27 minutes in optimal conditions.
9 minutes to safeway roundabout.
12 to the A46/A45 roundabout
16 to the war memorial roundabout
19 to lawford road
25 to Arnie's batch bar
27 parked up in work.
Of course, this was setting out at 06:50.
I'm still not _quite_ sure why I ended up at work so early.
I suspect it may be to do with seasons.
So here's a question for you

Drove to work to classic FM this morning. I commend it to anyone. I've yet to encounter any non-classical music that is quite as exhilarating as "Duel of the Fates".
This morning was Barber's Adagio for Strings (it was the theme music in platoon) which is one of those lovely melancholy pieces of music. I reckon I'd like that played at my funeral.
Followed by The Queen Symphony. First time I heard of it, I assumed something to do with the Queen's golden jubilee.
Nope. It's a cover of some of Queen's greatest hits, done by the London Symphony Orchestra.
Bohemian Rhapsody really does work in a full orchestral/choral scoring.
