Came in this morning to a full filesystem on one of our servers.
Filling up as soon as anything was being deleted.
One of our users had 'done something silly' and has had a kick in the pants.

Anyhow, back to what I was going to go on about.
Heard on Radio 4 this morning, their 'christmas poll'.
Basically, they're asking for submissions

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/vote/index.shtml

I was thinking something along the lines of allowing a jury to return a 'no crime committed' verdict in exceptional cases. Something like in the example of the ambulance driver a while back who picked up speeding fines whilst carrying a transplant.

Cinemaworld in rugby has a 'delux' cinema - bar, comfy seats etc.
Unfortunately, it's also full on thursday.

Unfortunately, all the luxury cinemas are full so I've booked 3 for showcase, 19:30. Hopefully we won't have to bitch our way to free tickets again this time. (sigh)

Over christmas, I'll be off on Tuesday the 23rd off home to see my family in Hampshire. Back again just before new-year's day.

So this friday will be the last for a while at the pub.
Usual place, usual time.
(Malt Shovel, 19:00 ish onwards)

I was thinking of requiring schools/LEAs to assess the needs of very able children and cater for those needs, in the same way they do with children who have learning/behavioural difficulties.

It's a nice idea.
I mean, it'd have helped me loads, because I'm amazingly wonderful.

Actually, I'd probably come down on the other angle. IMHO very able children are much more likely to self motivate.

There are places like grammar schools that attempt to fulfill that role.

I guess at the end of the day, it's easier to help a kid who's behind, than it is to help one that's storming ahead...

Worth submitting it to the website though...
