Uplink and Vultures

I've just noticed that Uplink has a patch. A gameplay patch. It adds 'LAN' hacking.

Now would it be wrong of me to model the Alstom LAN on it?
And the distribute?... ;p

I now have my Disk and code card, so I feel the need to let the addiction begin again. There's this cool website you see. It's called Modlink and it has extra gateways, systems, skins and LANs for uplink. COOOOL.

On another note, a quick straw poll on vulturing. To clarify, vulturing is the process of consuming stuff that's left lying around.

Umm - that said, I think it depends on the type of consumables left - if it's going to go off then I'd consume it or throw it out and replace it if anyone complained. No one has the right to make me keep going off food in my home:-P

If it's not perishable I'd probably keep it for a while before I consumed it/check whether it was wanted first.

And as for parties - I might not expect my food back, but I would want the container it was in back eg. if it's in a nice plastic lunchbox type thing.

Oh yeah, the question only applys to consumables (ok, so the definition is variable, but I use it to mean stuff what can be eaten or drunk. Drinked. Drinkled. Whatever ;p).
