Uplink and Vultures
May. 7th, 2004 01:22 pmI've just noticed that Uplink has a patch. A gameplay patch. It adds 'LAN' hacking.
Now would it be wrong of me to model the Alstom LAN on it?
And the distribute?... ;p
I now have my Disk and code card, so I feel the need to let the addiction begin again. There's this cool website you see. It's called Modlink and it has extra gateways, systems, skins and LANs for uplink. COOOOL.
On another note, a quick straw poll on vulturing. To clarify, vulturing is the process of consuming stuff that's left lying around.

Pity the 'LAN play' mode only lets you connect to another computer *solely* so you can use the monitor. But if you have two computers close enough, I'm sure it adds another dimension to the game :)
