LinkedIn and recruitment

sobriqueOne thing I have increasingly found whilst job hunting:
LinkedIn is incredibly valuable. There are MANY recruiters using it (at least in IT) and it's a really neat way of getting more intel about a job prospect - see who there, worked where, and with whom.
There really aren't many degrees of separation between two people in this field. Most of the time, anyway.

It's a social network, of sorts, but it's very much geared up to the professional side of things - where you work, what you did, who you worked with.
