Dear... everyone with a website
Aug. 6th, 2010 02:54 pmOK. I get that not everyone is internet savvy, and doesn't want to update websites all the time.
And y'know, that's ok. However, I really do expect that anything you've published on your website be correct.
Things like opening hours - Habibi, I'm looking at you here.
I've been caught out twice now by your website.
First by:
http://www.habibirestaurant.co.uk/
"Open 7 days a week, this reputably family-friendly restaurant welcomes all who are ready to experience the sounds and tastes of the east."
And then by: http://habibi.dreamscapedesign.dyndns.biz:1800/Contact.aspx
"Mon - Thurs: 4pm - 12am
Fri: 4pm - 1am
Sat: 12pm - 1am
Sun: Closed "
When you don't actually open until 2pm on Saturdays now. I don't mind if you don't have opening hours, and just leave a phone number so I can call. But it's just plain frustrating when your published details are wrong, and I turn up expecting your restaurant to be open, only finding I've got to go somewhere else.
And also: Broomfield park medical centre. Yes, you.

That's your practice area. St. Patricks Road is IN THAT BOX.
So telling me that I'm not registered, because I'm out of catchment - and then telling me on the phone, your website is wrong - is incredibly annoying. Especially as the reason I'm phoning up is because I wanted an appointment.
Thankfully, NHS walk in centre is incredibly efficient, and had me walking in, and out again in about 20 minutes. If not less.
Which mean I had time to go register somewhere else.
But still. That's Very Annoying. DON'T POST LIES ON YOUR WEBSITES.
