So it's a web portal for takeaways. It's a nice idea - you have an online menu, you clicky click, and they handle the payment/calling through the order.
Yes, I know it's not hard to order by phone, but sometimes you don't have a menu, and trust me, when I last ordered for 13 people it was hell.
So I like electronic ordering.

However, I've just had them confirm my order (was a bit slow) only to phone up nearly an hour later to say that they hadn't called the order through, maybe the store was closed or something.

That's really not very useful. And it's not the first time - previously we've had a 'problem, please call store direct'.

I have on a couple of occasions, had it work, but ... well. I can cope with the notion that a service doesn't work. I find it very frustrating when it's unreliable like that, when I'm hungry and waiting for my delivery to arrive. (Foolishly, I assumed 'confirmed' meant exactly that)

I've not had a problem with them - for me, the bonus is not having to worry about having sufficient cash in the house when I crave takeaway.

I'm now wondering if I've just been lucky because the takeaway place I selected was competent that day, though. It sounds like there may be a lack of failproofing or follow-up with just-eat themselves...?

I remember ordering from Snappy's many years ago, 45 mins passed and I called up to see what was happening. Only then did they tell me that they didn't deliver to that address and made it seem like it was my fault for not realising that.

I've not had a problem with them, but it may be because we order from a compentent indian resturant, and that we live in the middle of town. Guess it may vary on what town you live in.

Used 'em a couple of times for different takeaways. Has been fairly reasonable so far.

I have noticed a few of the reviews say that food never arrived, but I saw that being more of an issue with the takeaway staff being useless rather than an issue with the website itself.
