Dresden Files
Jun. 16th, 2010 10:25 pmSo I've been reading the Dresden files, by Jim Butcher.
They're rather fun - urban, modern day -ish fantasy.
There's also a TV series, and ... well, I don't have to do much more than look at the cover to realise they've completely missed the point.
Dresden files is ... basically, a film noir, that happens to have a wizard as a detective. It could probably do with being shot as such.
Which got me to thinking - how difficult would it be to accomplish this? Taking a short story, and translating it into a 'film noir style' - voice overs, black and white, and all.
Would that be of interest to ... well, anyone really? Getting involved? Can't say it'll ever be more than a pipe dream, but ... well. Might also be cool.
