Locks and cars

Looks like someone's tried to break into my car.
They don't seem to have been successful. The lock 'cover' is gone, and there's some scratches on the door, but hte locking mechanism still seems to work, and I can't see any signs of 'stuff missing'.

Not quite sure when it happened - I would have thought I'd have noticed, but I didn't notice this morning until I actually got to work, so ... *shrug*. (I use a remote to lock/unlock, so don't usually look at the lock to put a key in). I'm trying to think if I saw someone 'hanging around' the other night, but I didn't really pay enough attention (and couldn't describe them anyway).

Slightly annoying, but I can't say I care overly. Probably a bill to fix it, but I'm getting used to the notion that cars are holes you occasionally have to pour a little more money into.

On the plus side, the lock still works, and they didn't bother trying to smash the window, so it's not an urgent job.

It could be that or someone was too pissed to realise its not their car???
