Anyone seen recently, any really nice juicy stinging nettles? I've got a notion of something I'd like to try, and so if you've seen some - particularly in the Midlands area - please let me know.
Ideally looking for quite tall stinging nettles.

The best ones I've seen so far this year are on the footpath to Warwick Uni in the open area between Tesco and Claycroft Residences.

It's a bit late in the year for soup, I think - you're supposed to make it relatively early, as the diuretic qualities of nettle leaves increase as summer goes on.

Or so some cookbooks say, anyway. I'm plotting to grow some for soup next year...
