OK, so I don't know if you've been following the trial in Sweden of the
Pirate Bay.
Here's an article on it - The summary is that the 4 founders of the Pirate
Bay were put on trial for "assisting making available copyrighted content".
The case is done, the verdict is guilty, and the sentence is a year in
prison, and £2.4m fine.

Well, there's new news in the works.
It seems the judge - Tomas Norström is a signed up member is Svenska
föreningen för upphovsrätt ('the Swedish Copyright Association'). He's also
on the board of Svenska föreningen för industriellt rättsskydd (Swedish
Association for the Protection of Industrial Property), a group actively
advocating for more stringent copyright laws.
