sobriqueWent to the Picasso exibition in London. Looked at some interesting samples of his work.
I have to say though, I found the whole experience extremely disturbing - so many of his pictures seem to be strong imagery of torment, evil and despair. Even the pictured portrayed as overt cubism seemed to come across as ... people, their inner selves shattered into pieces and reformed. A fracturing and incompleteness of the soul.
Oh don't get me wrong, his work was magnificent, but very disturbing with it.
I'm not sure I buy the 'putting words into his mouth' descriptions that were by each of the pictures - I really do think that he may well have been running a strong and sinister paranoia.
Also: Dr Who exhibition at Coventry Transport museum.
