Steam have a sale.
Ends 2nd Jan

25-75% off, which includes Portal at £3.50.
Apparantly this is a game I must play, and at £3.50 ... well, it's hard to go wrong really.
Also, Doom 2: 99p :)
But apparantly both Dawn of War and Left 4 Dead are games that are eminently worthy, and probably to my taste.
Left4Dead appears to be a co-op FPS which sounds rather fun, although it seems it would be more interesting if there were other people interested in it :)

Date: 2009-01-02 01:15 pm (UTC)The Dawn of War series is probably one of the better RTS, tbh - and hey, 40K deserved a proper computer game outing :P
Portal is love, like, love. One of the best games ever. If you like story based FPSs, you might want to just pick up the entire orange pack - which contains both portal and the entire Half Life 2 series so far. Plus there is Team Fortress 2.
There many great games in the offer, including several indie ones.
