How to make your PC clock synchronise automatically (this works on Windows XP, can't comment on other versions):

1: Find a server to synchronise with on here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/262680

It's worth picking on one physically close to you, as that minimises network latency.

I will use as my example:

ntp0.uk.uu.net

2 Set it as your time server:

net time /setsntp:ntp0.uk.uu.net

3: Restart your time service:

net stop w32time
net start w32time

Then resync your clock

w32tm /resync
