X-Files

Well, I've just been to see the X-File film.
It was one of these 'well, maybe'.

I must say, I am really glad I went. It was really well done, very 'X files' as in the first couple of series that I really enjoyed.

It wasn't aliens and conspiracy, it was just ... nasty with a hint of supernatural. Which it quite nicely leaves open at the end.

I'm also quite impressed at how nicely the characters were done, and meshed together. I went to this film without much in the way of high hopes, but am suitably impressed at how it turned out. Certainly one of the better films of the summer in my opinion. (And sadly underrated)

Ooooh, I'm glad it's good! Am really excited about seeing this one. (Once upon a time, I was something of a tragic x-phile...)

I was quite a fan too, in the early series. I liked the creepy mystery.

I didn't really like so much the 'big conspiracy' plotline, and he aliens though, and ... well, found it kind of fizzled a bit later on.

This is more like one of the early series, than one of the later ones, and I like it muchly for all that. But it's also been brought a bit more up to date with the way the world is, which I like too.
