Whitby ticket acquired. Spa's temporarily out of tickets, but the tourist office apparantly 'has loads'.

May be heading up on the Friday, due to logistical difficulties with mrph's work schedule.

Locked and loaded for a good holiday, with some friends.

If mrph is unable to sort his scheduling complications, then thank you, but no. I will pick him up after work on Friday, and make my own way there. If it's not too inconvenient though, I'd like to hold the option, since I would still like to make it there earlier.

I'm disinclined to drive up on my own, so it depends on whether anyone else wants a lift.

Rather than mess you around, when do you need a firm answer by? I understand that mrph is investigating his options, and given the choice, I'd like to get there on Thursday, and get a lift that way (not least so I don't need to be quite as careful about an early night on the beachparty).

But by the same token, I'm also thinking that a whitby with mrph languishing in Cov, wouldn't be the same, either.
