Phrase for today: "Can I borrow some coffee".

NO. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT.

Never. Ever. Are YOU. OR ANYONE ELSE allowed to BORROW my coffee.

GO AWAY.

You can HAVE some coffee. You can drink it all up. Leave me a bit, and I'm very happy. But there is NO WAY IN HELL I ever want that coffee to be returned. Even the thought about ways in which it could be returned, fill me with horror. I mean, liquid form, after biological processing? Or do the granules survive sufficiently intact to be solid form, like 'weasel' coffee?

No. YOU CANNOT BORROW MY COFFEE.

I personally think it sounds a bit phoney, a bit like "I hope I'm not interrupting", of course you are, its just a question of how bad your timing was :)
