Today's foolishness would seem to be failing to realise that today is not, in fact the 22nd. Which means I have driven to Durham for a friend's house warming party 168 hours too early.

I think that counts as rather silly. Oh well. It was a lovely day for a drive. And may be remedied by the virtues of a good restaurant.
