Day 3

Today was at Westwood.
Nice site that.
Mostly reading docs. I do now have a login and an email, but ... well very little else :). It's handy to actually have a workstation to log in on, I find.
Reading's fine though, I can start to get a handle on stuff, although without context it's not all that easy.

Nearly ended up on a short notice trip down to London, but they changed their mind. Bit of a pity, because first few times it's an adventure (and more interesting than reading TFM). My trips for later in the week have been postponed, rescheduled, to next week. Which is nice.
Means this weeks is going to be a bit more of ... ummm... well, if you give me a computer, I can maybe do something with it.

Oh well, the Westwood site is rather nice, and the canteen shows signs of being quite a good one too. Anywhere with a Starbucks on site fulfills my inner coffee junkie needs quite well.

Westwood Newsagent is quite good for cheap sandwiches. :)

Barclays canteen isn't through any access controlled doors. Although you do need a lil' cardy thing to buy stuff.

Damnit, they have Starbucks now? Canteen was very snazzy back when I was there, but the Starbucks may be new...

Do they still have the very nice selection of make-your-own sandwich stuff? I've got an invite over at some point to pester the Fr**d Pr*v*nt**n team, so should probably take advantage of this and investigate...

They have a 'pick yer own sandwich' which worked quite nicely. Nice bread which always seems to be the definitive.

It's only a 'mini' starbucks, e.g. a machine that does decent coffee, but if you're over this way by all means drop by and say hi :)

I believe RICS does decent coffee - they have one of those fancy machines... However, I hate coffee, so haven't tried it... :P
