Today is Thursday.
This awful backup server that has given me some late nights the last couple of days is _hopefully_ sorted. However I've now got a massive schedule backlog, so that remains to be seen.

Tomorrow, is Friday. Which, all things considered, will be a good day to be at the Whitefriars, for a beer or 5. However, I feel I shall suggest going for curry beforehand, because it's been a while since I last graced Monsoon with my presence. So, working plan of '7-ish' in monsoon, and Whitefriars 'after'. Of course, if there's not a huge amount of interest in the curry idea, then skipping step 1 is an option.

On Saturday, [livejournal.com profile] malal has suggested that food might be a good idea. It's a reasonable plan, however there's no plan that cannot be improved by some wild improvisation and publicity.

The real question becomes what and where.
I've a few favourites in and around Coventry, but would quite like to retry Aqua (lebanese, next to Whitefriars). Then I've not been to Turmeric Gold or Kakooti in a while, nor Habibi or ... actually quite a few places.

Possibility included Frankie and Bennies, near the showcase. Which prompted me to check films. Oh dear. They actually made a film of Dead or Alive. Which looks frighteningly bad, if somewhat easy to make an adaptation of...

That said Crank actually looks vaguely credible.

Heh. I was actually thinking towards monsoon Saturday. :-)

However, I like your plan better. Monsoon Friday it is. Not too keen on Turmeric gold for the Saturday, since that will be following like for like. However Aqua or Habibi are both good (as is China Red). Not tried Kakooti though.

Having said all that, I'm in favor of Frankie & Bennies followed by Dead or Alive, who's trailer amused me. Crank holds no interest for me.

I shall update for an Official Plan later.
