Ugh.
Hot muggy weather distresses me.
I lie in bed sweltering, and not sleeping. Usually with the windows open.
Of course, then, when it starts to cool down, I have to deal with a room full of bugs. Some of which bite.
Didn't sleep all that well last night. However I have ordered some more incense, so hopefully bug'sll be less a problem.

I hear that

I have two small insect bites on my ankle. It looks like I've been bitten by a very short vampire.

I really object to being an insect snack. It's just ... argh, irritating.

I am presuming that there is a solution on some camping/outdoors website. Some light mesh screen that allows air flow but stops bugs?

My usual trick is to leave the windows open upstairs with the light turned off and do stuff downstairs.

I may try the screening thing. Problem I've got is my PC is in my room, so of course, that's where I am. Incense works quite well I've found, for keeping bugs out.

Maybe now is the time to get a milspec laptop and bluetooth to upstairs.

Tell me about it. I have spent today slipping in and out of conciousness. My head hates me I think thanks to changes in barometric presure and humidity.

One thing that may help with the sleeping and bugs.. Get a mosquito net for round your bed. the other things I have found extremely successful in the longer term is the Vapona window sticker sunflowers which flys walk over then die. It has helped keep the levels of insect life in low numbers in the kitchen.

for the heat, try keeping a cool damp washcloth on the back of your neck. That helps keep me cooler.
