Well, Amber then. That was Interesting. Ramius (my character) would appear to be: a) not dead. b) in possession of The Jewel of Judgement. How long this state of affairs persists remains to be seen :)
Well, quite evilly, mrph ended the game just about as I execute my 'grab the loot and run' plan. (It was wait for distraction, cast invis, teleport, grab jewel, teleport, trump). The distraction was a chaoslord in 'dragon form' breaking free and breathing fire.
I am fairly sure the 'grab jewel' point was reached, and given there wasn't one there after the dragonfire recinded, and there was no smoking corpse and no jewel, the 'teleport clear' part probably was.
So quite where Ramius actually made it to, and whether he has been brutally maimed by dragonfire, or if someone did shiv/intercept him in transit I'm not entirely sure :). But that's not the point :).
