I appear to have lost about a pint of blood.
This is not a problem.
I'm not allowed to go swimming tonight though, which is vaguely annoying.
Never mind, I shall just have to eat take out food tonight :)

Hehee... it's funny to drink some wine straight after having blood taken. Goes straight to the head :o) Sadly, I keep nearly passing out whenever I try to give blood... I'm quite squeamish with needles.

Not sure if I'm allowed to give blood, hole-in-heart, Stickler's Syndrome, and so on... I passed out when I had some taken at doctor's...

I think the former. Those nurses weren't wearing black, and there was a distinct absence of sucking. Pity really ;p

Watching them tap the vein, and put the cannula in is really quite interesting. Provided you don't flinch when they do of course ;)

And ... when giving blood, they're generally only worried about stuff that can be passed on. Diseases and the like. I don't know if that would apply of course. It may be worth enquiring :)

Last time I lost about a pint of blood it wsan't exactly voluntary...

I've never given blood before, I am a bit of a bleeder, hate needles and when my Dad last wnet they told him not to come back. (He did keel over...)

Try on the table by the front door. I always find pints of milk there that I put down on the way from the doorstep to the fridge.
