There's a server that's been down since thursday that needs 'urgent attention'.
I have a meeting in 5 minutes for which I have done no prep, because I got told 10 minutes ago.
I have an IBM guy coming to meet a collegue who's not in yet.
And 3218 unread emails.

Which is nice.

Well... nothing sais "We have missed you soooo much" like those 3218 e-mails :) I think they have missed you enough for another payrise.

I have just managed to get my holiday for August confirmed. 9th - 28th. I am rather looking forward to it :)

Technically speaking i'm not allowed more than 10 days in a row... but the considered opinion of my bosses boss was, what the hey, otherwise he'll just book it at some other inconvienient time, so not worth the fuss really.

Can't wait... hehe.
