This evening, I shall be off out with workmates for beer and curry. Sadly it's in lutterworth, but in lieu of somewhere civilised it'll do.

This Friday, I'll be meeting some people for a meal, so probably won't make it as far as the pub. (Or if I do, it'll be notably late).


Now, on to more pressing business. A week on Friday, being the 7th of April, is 2 days before I'm 27. I'm currently thinking of plans for a weekend of mayhem and debauchery, especially given I have holiday booked for the subsequent couple of weeks. (Maelstrom is the weekend after, and Whitby is the weekend after that, and each sorta benefit from a few days 'padding')

So basically, I'm planning to do Whitefriars on Friday the 7th, and rather feel like a nice meal on the saturday. Turmeric Gold, Kakooti or The Bear at Berkswell spring to mind.

I was planning on doing a meal in association with Robin this weekend at the Miyako Teppanyaki in Birmingham this weekend. I went there to check out bookings this weekend at lunchtime. I was going to post details and the cunning plan that underlies it until I saw this post.

Do you want to combine the two events together with a do on the 7th?

Part of the cunning plan involves me, potentially, paying for the whole meal...

Erm, are you suggesting making Teppenyaki the venue on the 7th? If so, I think that's a splendid plan. I have good memories of that restaurant :).

Yes I am. There are two of them in Brum, this would be the one I took people to some years back. It's the one in the Arcadian Centre as opposed to the other one in Brindley Place.
