Hello Ed:
Please allow me to introduce myself as the managing editor for the book `The
Practice of System and Network Administration', by Thomas A. Limoncelli &
Christine Hogan.
I am currently working with the authors to determine whether a new edition
of the book is needed.

I noticed that you have recommended this book to your students in the past,
and I was hoping that you may be interested in answering some questions...such as:

1) Do you think that a new edition is a good idea?
2) What did you like about the first edition?
3) What did you not like about the first edition (what would you change)?
4) What other topics do you think should have been covered?

Any and all responses that you have time to provide are greatly appreciated.

We are all Ed's students, the nuggets of wisdom imparted in his LJ posts are lessons for us all.
On the other hand, I can't remember any specific technical manuals being recommended?
Maybe I wasn't in class that day ;)
