Verdict on the Opticians

Verdict? No point with the contact lenses, they wouldn't make any difference, because my eyesight has improved again.
In fact, if it weren't for the fact I already had them he probably wouldn't bother recommending glasses, as my eyesight is near enough 20/20 as is.
I can't deny that I could read (admittedly with a _little_ effort) that bottom row on his lil' chart. (And apparantly 'driving' is 3rd from the bottom, which I could do easily).
Which is weird.
I'm sure I do still see better with glasses, so I'm not entirely sure...
Maybe I'd better fish out some paperwork for notifying the DVLA that I don't need corrected vision.
