I hate traffic wardens
Nov. 29th, 2005 09:08 amGood start to the day.
Got out of the house to have a chat with some traffic wardens, that were noting down my registration, for 'parking on the verge'. Was a 'this could have been a fine' rather than an _actual_ fine, but even so.
It seems that the parking enforcement is picking up.
Which is nice. I mean, I don't park on the verge out of choice, there really isn't anywhere else to park. I have had _several_ of my neighbours asserting the whole 'this is my spot' thing by knocking and asking if I can move my car in the past. I think from now on, my answer will be no.
Then, the journey into work ended in a traffic queue. 500m from work, queue for 25 minutes.
And then discovered that the carpark at work, is not so much a bit frosty, as covered in a sheet of ice. Which will prove interesting this evening.
I think I shall be having to start getting up ultra early, and getting going for the early shift. If only so I can be a parking space hog.

Date: 2005-11-29 12:43 pm (UTC)and i totally agree, those neighbours hogging spaces can stuff their ideas about their rights somewhere else. In fact, how about you go and apply for a permanent parking permit of some sort making it your space, if that is possible. :) now that would be funny, hehe.
