sobriqueAlstom have just announced a pay freeze, for 1 calendar year.
Which is nice.
Essentially, I was factoring into job calculations a 'possible' increase of 3% this year, in April. (And had hoped for a little more, as ever).
But what's actually happening, is _no_ increase. Which means, in real terms, that I'm losing money. Inflation and cost of living increases.
The irony is, that I've literally just been telephoned by a recruitment agent, for a contract role. He had some other options too.
Sometimes, I think someone's trying to tell me something....
