Pub orders

Now, what happens in our office is this:
Thursday, we bugger off down the pub for lunch.
Someone (usually me, but ya'know, sometimes I ain't here) collects orders, and phones 'em in as a batch.

I'm not particularly keen on doing it, but it's not something I mind. I also wouldn't mind, ya'know, if once in a while, someone decided that their time wasn't too important to take a turn at it.

But what's just happened is this. One of my workmates, who sits just behind me, has just _phoned up_ the pub to check what the specials were.
And _then_ has given me his order.

I'm not amused.
Or maybe I am, at the barefaced gall.

Whatever.

In some ways it's flattering because if everyone knows you do it so well then why would they change it? Also the fact that you do it the most probably makes you first port of call for the lazy/those who think it's actually your job for whatever reason. Maybe gently remind people that it's not your job and then see what happens. Someone might actually step in to fill your shoes or maybe the rest of the morons are lacking in leadership/authorative figures. Who knows?

Don't make me come over there and stab you.
