Beer Engine

Is it just me, or is the Beer Engine turning into a noisy music pub?
Don't get me wrong, I rather like their taste in music, but on a friday night, down tha' pub, I don't really like having to shout to even be heard.

Oh well, figure I'll probably be there anyway. This week at least.

true about the music, though i don't mind it so much. Beer is still good though :)

Otherwise no harm in going back to the nursery for a while, simply because its just so easy to get to while still having decent beer, though a strict 11pm close, which can be a good or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.

For me, I find the beer engine easy to get to compared to the nursery ;)

Personally, I find the nursery can get just as loud and is far more cramped. *shrug* could just be me though. Either way, I can only make the pub every other week so one week out of two couldn't care either way ;)

The Beer Engine is an okay pub, its friendly, safe and I can walk in on my own and have a quiet drink. music can get quite loud but if you sit on the benches under the window the central bit tends to dampen some of the sound

I just find its location a bit sucky for distance to travel the fact that on late firday nights it is inhabited by chav scum who want to beat the crap out of you..
