sobriqueSometimes I wonder what changed. I seem to recall a time not so very long ago, that it was a regular occurance for numerous people to be doing the WhiteFriars, and a couple of text messages would circulate, numerous people would show up, and all in all, it'd be a good night out.
What changed?
Well, ok, there were some interesting and entertaining people who did the pub tonight. But there's a fair few more, conspicuous by their absence. Really rather disappointing.
Have my text messages each week, calling ye forth to the pub, become irrelevant and boring? Or has perhaps the prospect of an evening of company faded in potentia.
I'd consider not bothering, but there were still some who thought it a good night out.
Time shall tell; destiny calls
