There was a discussion on the POS funtime channel, about forming a 'starbase alliance'.
Working name of the Interstellar Starbase Syndicate. An alliance in effect, for POS owners. Not to claim territory, but to be an economic power, and effectively become a pricing cartel for starbases and outposts in 0.0

Given I wasn't paying attention to PoS funtime, how many and which corps seem to be interested?

The thing is, we don't even need that many corps to start with for it to be viable.

I like the idea that the member corp's autonomy is preserved, whilst having an in built trade framework and mutual defence treaty. Ideally the alliance coffers should never have much more money in them than is required to pay the alliance upkeep from what I can tell.

The more I think about it, the more I like it. If this looks like it's going to go ahead, I'll support it.
