Ok, look I know you want to emphasise that it's really early and everything, but do you _have_ to specify a time as "4AM in the morning"?
I mean, AM is Ante Meridiem - quite literally 'before the middle of the day'.
Either or, please. 4 in the morning or 4AM is fine.
4 in the morning in the morning just seems daft.

Incidentally - the Romans used 'Ante-Meridian' literally - 4 AM was 4 hours before noon.

As you may know, I have daily activity targets, in numbers of steps that I've been trying to keep up with. I'm mostly doing ok with it, and _most_ workdays hit target.
Which given my target is 20,000 steps at the moment (10 miles) is something I'm quite proud of.
The other day I spotted that it's basically 1000 steps to the Whitefriars from my house (half a mile). Which means I could walk there, have a pint, walk back, and clock up 2000 steps by doing so.

This obviously extends into round trips to the pub, punctuated by a beer inbetween. Given we're talking about 10 round trips, it might have to be halves :).

I couldn't quite figure out if this was really good, or really wrong.

But it lead me to thinking - the weather is warming up, and I like trying to get my daily steps in. So would it not be splendid, if I were to talk to a country pub somewhere, have a beer and a drink, and walk back again.
I mean, Kenilworth is 5 miles or so.
The bear at berkswell is 6.
The Old mill at Baginton is 3.5
Ryton is 4.7.
Bedworth is similarly, about 5 miles.

So, on a warm summer afternoon - either at the weekend, or one evening - would anyone be interested in a bimble in search of beer and a pub lunch?
