Don't get me wrong, I think the world is a better place for multiple different cultures.

But I really do think that when one is trying to troubleshoot a technical problem, on a fairly critical system, that you'd really rather hadn't gone wrong at all, having someone with a poor grasp of English, or just a really bad accent is not helping matters one iota.

Memo to all staff

It has come to our attention that too much time is spent in utilizing the toilet facitilies. This is leading to an unacceptable loss of productivity. We recognise that toilet use is not something that should be prohibited due to the increase in the cleaning bill. Therefore, we shall be maintaining the temperature of the toilets at a steady temperature of -6 degrees C. We feel that staff will be more efficient if they have to risk dangly parts of the anatomy falling off.

LRP weaponry

At the first Maelstrom, I spotted a big and gribbly sledge hammer, of the Larping kind. Two handed, pole arm type jobby, about as long as I was tall.

Problem is, I didn't have the cash to get it when I was there, and I've not spotted the same guy at later events. I can't even remember which company he was from.

So a question to those of a larping inclination. Can you suggest where I can find such a beast?

(Looking for something sledge hammer style, in the 48-72 inch size range)
