Sinister Clocks

Yes citizen, the clocks change. Time shifts by an hour. You will conform to this new way.
Ironically, I don't think I actually have to change any of my clocks. Well, the one in my car maybe.
But my clock radio'll reset of the DAB time signal. My alarm clock uses the radio clock. My computer uses NTP. And my watch just has a good idea of it's temporal position in the year.
And for those not quite sure which way around it is, there's the old adage:
"Spring Forward, Fall Back". You get an extra hour in bed on sunday morning.

Friday and stuff
Oct. 29th, 2004 02:07 pmYa'know, it's vaguely disconcerting how fast one fills the laundry bin when going to the Gym twice a day. I mean, ok, that's only been the last 3 days, but that's still 6 sets.
So far, I've been to the gym 8 times since monday. I may go again tonight, but I suspect I probably won't. It being friday and all.
The price one pays for not having a shower at home ;p
It's not too bad though, since I have got some decent 'work out' time in. Mornings ain't so good, because my blood sugar is low, and I don't have a lot of time, so I tend to limit at 30mins. Evenings though, are getting easier to sustain.
The initial pain has faded, and I'm feeling just generally healthier than before. I am running rather short on sleep now though...
So, now I've a peaceful weekend once more. Few things to sort, but nothing earth shattering. And a DVD of Blade Runner waiting for me at the post office.
In other news, there is a new BOFH. Which as ever, is rather entertaining.
