It is approaching that time of year once more.
Yes citizen, the clocks change. Time shifts by an hour. You will conform to this new way.

Ironically, I don't think I actually have to change any of my clocks. Well, the one in my car maybe.
But my clock radio'll reset of the DAB time signal. My alarm clock uses the radio clock. My computer uses NTP. And my watch just has a good idea of it's temporal position in the year.

And for those not quite sure which way around it is, there's the old adage:
"Spring Forward, Fall Back". You get an extra hour in bed on sunday morning.

BAH! No extra time in bed for me. My daugthers internal clock doesn't reset that easily. Try telling a 1 year old to stay in bed because the clocks have gone back!

Chains?
Opiates?

Don't worry, I'll be thinking of you ...

Actually, that's a lie, I won't. I'll still be ASLEEP IN BED.

But I will remember, when I arise from my slumber at 10, and wander off to sainsburies for a big bad breakfast, and sit, quaffing coffee and munching on collossal quantities of bacon, eggs, sausages and hash browns.

And I shall be laffin' my arse off.

*smirk*

I know where you live, more talk like that and I can safely bet you won't be sleeping until 10am. :D

well, just make sure you target the back of the house, in a manner that will not disturb the other occupants... maybe gas in small quantities or water or some such... or i guess his mobile :)

For I will take great offence at being woken up in the morning, just because someone has a daughter who can't read the time yet and someone else thinking its funny ;p

We've got a 8 month old daughter... and we've been changing her bedtime over the last few days so it's now an hour later than usual. This makes it so she wakes up an hour later than usual. Aim is that she won't wake up an hour earlier than usual on Sunday morning :)

We didn't think of it ourselves, it was some friends who recommended it - they've got a two year old :-)
