Helpdesk calls

The correct way for dealing with a helpdesk call is NOT to append with 'Looks ok from here' (paraphrased) and then to forward it on to someone else.

This is not useful, and just means i have to go through the process again.

Holidays

My boss is off on holiday at the end of this week. For 3.5 weeks. Ironically, this is just a few days short of our collective notice period. So in theory, we could quit, and on the day he came back in, we'd be able to do the whole 'well, see-ya then' thing.

This, I think, might not go down especially well.
