I also was following a M&Ms lorry to work. They've gone and done the whole 'red lorry, yellow lorry' thing, by having the left hand side yellow, and the right hand side red. Someone has a perverse sense of humour.

Delivery, and lying companies

Just been on the phone to Airsoft Dynamics.

I'm not happy. I've just been told that the 'shells' for my shotgun, are 'hard to get hold of'. OK, that's a fair answer. But only when I _haven't_ already paid for them, and _haven't_ been waiting two months for delivery. They're in stock of the other item that I've been waiting for (finally) a sling for said shotgun.

I'm really not impressed, since their webshite gives every indication that it's next day delivery. (To be fair, the first half of the order, and the other item I ordered from them was more or less).

I don't mind waiting two months, for a hard to get hold of item. I do mind being told that it'll be next day, oh we've got them coming in a week, oh they're not in yet, oh yes, they're hard to get hold of.
Oh and having been charged for the whole order. The bits I'm awaiting for are about 45 quid out of a 300quid order, but even so. I think I'll have to take my business elsewhere. Or just check that they've got _everything_ in stock before I order.

Bastards.

Got a fob of from IWOOT. Guess I wont have my cool stuff before SINergy (the 'micro camera will be in stock this weekend')
Got a dispatch note from Amazon for my DVD player and books. Hopefully monday?

Interesting factoid. The average human bladder holds just over half a litre of fluid. This is why you need the loo after each pint, 'once you break the seal' (this is the time taken for the beer to pass through the works).
It does sort of suggest though, that we were _designed_ to drink beer by the pint.
