Walking

Today, I walked without crutches.

It felt good.
It also hurt at the same time (well, a bit)

Funny how such a simple thing can feel like such an achievement.

Ok, it wasn't far, and it was with the support of some good boots, but it's been nearly 8 weeks since I last did. Crutches'll be coming with me for a while yet, but this is the road to recovery.

Heeheh! I read that as 'ginger-snap' first time round. Perhaps you could be encouraged to walk further by people holding out ginger-snaps just a *little* too far away for you to reach? I'd enjoy doing that. It would be funny to watch. And then I'd eat the ginger snap. Mmmmm, tasty!
