Went to be plastered.
Now have a purple leg.
Spoke to doctor.
Am still signed off, and he wants to see me (and get an X-ray) on the 29th, at which point he may let me go back to work.

Got my 'renew car tax' letter. Now need to figure out how to get my car MOTed and taxed without being able to drive it... Might just ring the garage and ask 'em to collect. At least one round Cov must.

D&D tonight. Which is nice. Unfortunately, I still ain't in a position to play caffeine monkey.

And for some reason am being unusually terse on LJ.

I have any number of books, vids, dvds to lend you.

Alternatively you could take the time to read the Koran, create a roleplaying campaign or perfect throwing cards into a hat.

Get to know yourself through a self help course.

Figure you've got other things on your mind... :)

Take it easy and do plenty of sedentary stuff.

You know it makes sense...

Ed, with the car, assuming you can arrange for it to be done at somepoint when I'm at home (and it can be done before my work or at least left overnight), I can always drive it there for you (assuming someone else can get me home or whatever) as I'm insured to drive other people's cars...

Well, I've noticed that 'national' down the road do MOTs... which'd be trivally walkable...

I'm inclined to give 'em a ring to see if they're prepared to pick it up.

I've had a few things done there before (brakes, tyres and exhaust) and they seem both compotent and not shady.

You could get in touch with the tax office I'm sure they will make exceptions for someone who is pedestrianly challenged.

i would possibly go with Pauls idea.. if he's insured to drive other's cars:).. it does mean allowing your baby to be drive by others. but its cheaer than having it towed.
