It's pretty difficult to get dressed with IV lines in place without someone to help - I suggest you concentrate on persuading them to let you eat and drink 'cos once you're eating and drinking properly they'll take away the saline/glucose drip, which'll make life a bit easier.

Morphine and oxygen seems just about right for a broken leg. Certainly the morphine. There aren't many things more painful.
